So Cal Multi-Network PAC Golf Tournament Raises $100K

More than 120 golfers and volunteers from 20 credit unions and 30 business partners participated in this year’s 15th annual Southern California Multi-Network Golf Tournament, held on July 28 at Tustin Ranch Golf Club in Tustin, CA.

The event raised more than $100,000 toward the California Credit Union League Political Action Committee (PAC)!

“We’re incredibly proud of how this year’s golf tournament turned out,” said Madison Lee, advocacy specialist for the League. “The passion and commitment shown by every participant and volunteer is what powers the success of this event, and we are so thankful for their support and dedication to the credit union movement.”

Volunteers representing credit unions within the Greater Los Angeles, Greater Valley, Pacific Coast, Orange County, Inland Empire, and San Diego League Networks helped to make the tournament a success.

Everyone who participated put their best foot forward for the credit union cause, with the following individuals claiming this year’s winning titles:

  • First Place: Grant and Weber.
  • Second Place: Wescom Financial.
  • Third Place: Allied Solutions LLC.
  • Closest to Pin: Mark Montgomery.

Several of the day’s participants were also involved in drawings, winning prizes donated by the League, various local League Networks, and credit union system-partner vendors. This included:

  • Grand Prize (Callaway Golf Bag & Club Set): Melissa Pederson, Wescom Credit Union.

The League’s PAC allows credit unions to support state and federal legislative candidates who understand the credit union difference. Proceeds help the League toward achieving its political action goals for the benefit of the credit union movement.

The California Credit Union League would like to congratulate each winner! THANK YOU for everything you do on behalf of credit unions.

Contributions will be attributed to the CCUL-PAC (Independent Expenditure Account). Contributions are not tax-deductible for state or federal tax purposes. Questions? Email Madison Lee, advocacy specialist for the League at madisonl@ccul.org.
