For decades, the credit union philosophy of “People Helping People” has found its most vibrant expression through the Credit Unions for Kids (CU4Kids) program. Since 1986, this community has raised over $220 million, including a record-breaking $18.7 million in 2024 alone.
As CU4Kids looks to celebrate 40 years in 2026, the initiative invites you to come along the new brand journey and celebrate the incredible work the credit union industry has accomplished for children’s health. These funds aren’t just numbers on a check; they represent life-changing care for kids at local children’s hospitals, providing for urgent needs that allow kids to grow up strong.
Today, as CU4Kids looks toward the future of pediatric healthcare, Children’s Miracle Network is proud to unveil a new brand identity and a bold vision for the next two years: the Health For All Kids Impact Pledge.
As part of its evolution, the network has simplified its name to Children’s Miracle Network. This change reflects the role as an amplifier — a network that connects passionate partners like credit unions with the hospitals that need them most.
While the look has been refreshed, the core promise remains the same: 100 percent of funds raised through CU4Kids benefit the local children’s hospital. This ensures that wherever a credit union is located, when it raises a dollar, that dollar supports kids receiving care in the local community. The needs of children’s hospitals are growing. From specialized neonatal care to the rising demand for mental and behavioral health programs, the challenges facing families are more complex than ever. That’s why CU4Kids launched the Health For All Kids Impact Pledge — a national effort to raise $1 billion in two years.
This pledge is the crux of the credit union movement. It is an invitation for credit unions and their leaders to join in accelerating support for:
Every minute, 72 children enter a local children’s hospital supported by the network. Because of the auctions, golf tournaments and “casual days” hosted by credit unions, these children have access to a healthier tomorrow.
CU4Kids invites every credit union leader, employee, and member to visit CMN’s Pledge page to sign the Health For All Kids Impact Pledge to help reach the fundraising goal of $1 billion in two years. The credit union industry has always been a leader in this mission. As CU4Kids moves forward with a refreshed brand and an ambitious pledge, CU4Kids does so with the knowledge that the greatest impact happens when credit union leaders work together.
Let’s make big change — for all kids.
