California’s Credit Unions and Nevada’s Credit Unions have officially activated a Connect For The Cause (CFTC) campaign in response to the ongoing federal government shutdown.
Credit union advocates can make a difference right now by contacting their members of Congress, helping highlight the vital role credit unions are playing in supporting their communities, and thanking congressional staff for their continued service during this challenging time.
Your message will highlight that:
Credit union members, leaders, staff, and board members have received an email from CFTC@ccul.org. If you did not and would like to receive all future Connect For The Cause campaign updates, please email Senior Vice President of Federal Advocacy Stephanie Cuevas so she can ensure you are subscribed.
If you plan to encourage advocates at your credit union to participate, it’s recommended you engage your colleagues as soon as possible. If more time is needed, please ask advocates to participate in the campaign at your earliest convenience.
If the federal government shutdown is resolved sooner than anticipated, the campaign language will be updated accordingly, and the campaign will conclude one week after the government reopens.
Thank you for your participation in Connect For The Cause as credit unions serving federal government employees help navigate this challenging time for their members.
