Plus Credit Union is boosting its commitment to the Southern Nevada community recently, combining a fan-favorite member celebration with charitable initiatives. From bringing back local flavors to supporting nonprofit organizations, the credit union is proving that giving back is more than just a mission statement.
The excitement sparked in late February as the credit union prepared for its annual Member Appreciation Day. The credit union announced the return of a fan favorite — the In-N-Out Burger cookout truck. Members were invited to stop by the branch to enjoy fresh burgers as a token of gratitude for their continued trust.
While Member Appreciation Day focuses on those within the credit union family, Plus Credit Union’s impact extends beyond the branch walls. The credit union’s team also partnered with local organizations that form the backbone of Southern Nevada’s social services:
The credit union credits its success to its volunteers who donate their time to causes ranging from animal rescue to educational development.
The credit union also recently celebrated the conclusion of several donation drives. Thanks to the generosity of members, essential supplies, toys and resources were collected for Hearts Alive Village and Foster Kinship, providing a boost to local families, foster children, and pets.
All of this recent giving also included a bit of friendly competition. The credit union congratulated member Brock, the winner of the recent fire pit raffle. The raffle served as a fun way to drive engagement and donations for the credit union’s partner charities.
Plus Credit Union is also looking for the next community project to champion and is calling on members for input.
