First Financial CU Distributes $20,000 to Wildfire Victims

First Financial Credit Union recently distributed $20,000 and everyday essentials to members affected by the devastating California wildfires earlier this year.

It was a result of the incredible and generous donations made to their California Wildfire Relief Fund, Members Helping Members.

“The spirit of giving back to the educational community is central to who we are,” stated Carlton Musmann, president and CEO of First Financial Credit Union. “Donations flowed in for several months. We were deeply moved by the outpouring of support. ‘Members Helping Members’ was not just about aid, it was about community, compassion and standing by one another during tough times.”

The event was held at the credit union’s Corporate Office and was a moving reminder of strength, unity and kindness. Every contribution made a meaningful difference to all in attendance.

Members received a check and had the opportunity to walk through the rows of tables set up with essential items and take anything they needed.
