Great Basin Federal Credit Union is partnering with Girls on the Run Sierras to support girls in the community through the February 2026 Girls on the Run Sierras Shoe Drive.
Throughout February, Great Basin Federal Credit Union will serve as a collection site for new athletic shoes to help ensure every girl can recognize their inner strength, increase their level of physical activity, imagine their possibilities, and confidently stand up for themselves and others, Girls on the Run Sierras states.
“We’re grateful to partner with Girls on the Run Sierras on this important initiative,” said Gerardina Rodriguez, community relations manager at Great Basin Federal Credit Union. “This shoe drive is a simple but powerful way for our community to come together and help girls feel confident, supported, and ready to run toward their goals.”
Community members are invited to donate new big kid athletic shoes (sizes 2–6) in one of the following ways:
Donation boxes will be on display through February 28, 2026, with collection scheduled for the week of March 2, 2026.
