Golfers, volunteers, and supporters from 28 credit unions and organizations experienced an amazing day of competition and advocacy as they participated in the 3^rd Annual Northern California Multi-Network Golf Tournament this week.

Held Tuesday at the Callippe Preserve Golf Course in Pleasanton, CA, the tournament raised $60,000 toward the credit union cause! Click here for photos from the event.

Volunteers from several California’s Credit Unions’ League Networks helped to make Tuesday’s tournament a success — all united by a shared passion for supporting the credit union movement.

The League PAC allows credit unions to support state legislative candidates who understand the credit union difference. PAC proceeds help the California league toward achievement of its political action goals, ensuring credit unions have a strong presence and representation in conversations that impact the industry and its members.

“A big thank you goes out to our presenting sponsor — Valley Strong Credit Union — for their tremendous generosity and support, as well as our amazing volunteers,” said Angelica Pappalardo, political advocacy manager for California’s Credit Unions. “This event wouldn’t exist without the incredible individuals who volunteer to make it a success. Their work behind the scenes is what made it a great day.”

If you couldn’t join your peers this time, don’t worry — the excitement continues. Mark your calendars for the Southern California Multi-Network Golf Tournament on July 27 in Tustin CA at Tustin Ranch Golf Club, where participants will tee-up another great day in support of PAC.
