Premier America’s Scholarships for Service-Minded Students

The Premier America Foundation — a nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening financial wellbeing and supporting community initiatives across regions served by Premier Credit Union — is accepting applications for its 2026 Youth Scholarship Program.

The program will award 24 scholarships of $2,000 each to deserving students across Los Angeles County, Ventura County, and Harris County, Texas. The program recognizes young leaders who demonstrate strong academics, personal integrity, and a meaningful commitment to serving their communities.

“Our mission is rooted in improving the financial well‑being and future success of our communities,” said Alex Gallardo, Executive Director for the Premier America Foundation. “These scholarships honor young people who embody courage, compassion, and a genuine heart for service – bright young scholars who are already making an impact and leading the way toward brighter futures.”

The annual scholarship program supports youth and young adults pursuing higher education at accredited community colleges, universities, trade schools, or vocational programs. To be eligible, applicants must be between the ages of 17 to 24, plan to attend an accredited post‑secondary institution for the Fall 2026 term, reside in Los Angeles or Ventura counties in California, or in Fort Bend, Harris, or Montgomery counties, Texas. Applicants should demonstrate academic promise, leadership, a heart for service, and meaningful community involvement.

Applications will be evaluated on academic performance, community service, leadership, recommendation letters, and personal essays highlighting the student’s commitment to giving back. The Foundation received a record number of submissions in 2025, demonstrating that there is strong interest in service‑driven youth programs.

The Premier America Foundation’s Youth Scholarship Program supports the organization’s ongoing commitment to community advancement, youth empowerment, and financial well‑being. Since its inception, the program has recognized students who demonstrate outstanding potential and a passion for service – values that align deeply with the Foundation’s mission.
