Golfers, volunteers, and supporters representing 25 credit unions and 26 vendor partners experienced an incredible day of camaraderie, competition, and advocacy as they participated in the annual Southern California Multi-Network Golf Tournament on Monday.
Held at the Tustin Ranch Golf Club in Tustin, CA, 128 golfers took to the course and raised an impressive $115,206 toward the credit union cause!
Volunteers representing credit unions from several California’s Credit Unions’ Networks across the region helped make Monday’s tournament a success — all united by a shared passion for supporting the credit union movement.
The League PAC (Political Action Committee) allows credit unions to support state legislative candidates who understand the credit union difference. PAC proceeds are essential to helping California’s credit unions build meaningful political relationships, advocate for industry priorities, and ensure credit unions have a strong, unified voice in the policy decisions that impact credit unions.
“A huge thank you to every sponsor, participating credit union, and volunteer who made this event possible,” said Angelica Pappalardo, political advocacy manager for California’s Credit Unions. “Events like this only work because of the people who show up behind the scenes and the advocates who give so generously. That support is what powers our advocacy efforts and keeps our voice strong across the state.”
